When I was small I wanted to travel

Imagined myself in zero gravity
catching water in bubbles
When I got big I still wanted to travel

So I studied and studied, I worked and I studied

It was my time to be an ambassador for my
country and family and science and art
and all of humanity
Now here I am I’m learning and turning

Soon I’ll be home after so many nights and days in orbit

I speak to the children back home in their classroom
Knowledge evolving, the blue earth revolving below me
