I started writing a simple and playful rainforest tune about the songs of tropical birds using an echo pattern, but then I happened to read more about the Bellevista Cloud Forest in Equador because of a project my kids were doing in Geography. And I put that song back into the drafts folder and this song emerged, imagining a gentle adventure through this global important ecosystem, with a call for protection and conservation as I learned more about the biodiversity in this region.
